Please Send your resumes to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* or Feel free to reach me @ 412-376-7481 *Job Title- UI Designer* *Location- Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration- 4+ Months contract* *Rate- $35 to $40/hr on C2C* Job Duties: As a member of the eCommerce UI Design Team, you will help with our UI and Digital Art Direction efforts including branding, research, strategy, and visual design. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX designers and researchers, product managers, and site merchandisers. ● Work with a cross-disciplinary team to design pixel perfect UI solutions for client’s online properties including all platforms - desktop, tablet and mobile ● Develop the digital art direction and execution of omni-channel initiatives that increase customer conversion rates through online and other partner channels ● Be responsible for the design of homepages, experiential landing pages, emails and display advertising banners as well as other special projects ● Work closely with UX researchers to help define user needs and translate those into concepts for compelling interactions and user experience ● Effectively communicate user interaction through deliverables such as Hi-Fidelity comps and prototypes ● Be a steward for our brand guidelines and establish design-related brand and web usability standards to ensure consistently high results ● QA the implementation of your designs Qualifications: Experience: ● Bachelor's Degree ● A minimum of 3-5 years in a digital, user-focused creative environment ● An online portfolio that has examples of digital creative and UI work ● Experience designing outstanding web-based and mobile products ● Experience designing for multiple devices and responsive design ● Experience collaborating with, product managers, and front-end developers ● High level of proficiency in digital design programs including but not limited to Adobe CS, with expert skills in Photoshop and Illustrator ● Knowledge of UI/UX tools such as InVision and Axure Knowledge: ● Posses a thorough understanding of user-centered design principles, visual trends and emerging web technologies, current UI and UX mobile design patterns, and RWD/adaptive best practices ● Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, digital art direction, web design, and essential graphic design theory ● Knowledge of planning and project management tools as well as web analytics and optimization techniques ● Familiarity with basic front-end web development, (XHTML, CSS, and JS) and a clear understanding of what is and isn’t possible online Prefered: ● Familiarity with A/B testing, user testing, SEO/SEM and optimization techniques ● Creating web-friendly icons, prototyping and interface animations ● Being an active participant in the Digital Creative and UX/UI community ● Pride in communicating your design ideas and process clearly ● Having a strong opinion in the Flat vs Skeuomorphism debate ● Future Friendly and Atomic Design mean something to you -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mainframe" group.
