This position has accountability for ensuring delivery of Standard Enterprise IT solutions for the areas of Operations, Sales, Order Fulfillment, and Management. Required areas of knowledge include: - Sales, Distribution, Pricing, Sales Orders and Customer Master Data Management (MDM) - Integration with otherSAP Modules and with CRM systems like Salesforce.com *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES* - Participates in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understand business objectives and seeks alignment. Pragmatic Solution builder that understands the balance between Process, People and Technology - Stay current with technology trends and IT best practices for SAP development and configuration - Expert on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and techniques. Including change control management, check in/out process, Change Advisory Board, Testing Techniques, etc. - Knowledgeable of IT Framework such as Cobit or ITSM/ITIL. Aware of SOX and segregation of Duties. Knowledgeable of Project Management methodology (PMI) - Expert on SAP ECC/SD module, provide guidance/consultancy on best SAP practices, promoting maximum utilization of SAP standard capabilities. Expert ABAP developer and SD configurator - Works collaboratively with peer IT colleagues. Adheres, follows and improves shared IT procedures. Establish alliances and foster affinity and team spirit - Ensures clear definition of problem statement, business case and scope. Seeks project value realization - Seeks continuous improvement opportunities, both in IT and Business processes Participates on As Is To Be sessions, requirements gathering and perform gap analysis *ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS* - Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other equivalent - Experience in Oil & Gas industry, global and complex enterprise environment - Minimum 8 years of ABAP development experience working with RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows) -With ability to use dialog programming, user exists, ALV, BADI's, RFC's and otherSAP development tools. Experience working on SAP version 4.7 or higher - Experience in designing and coding Custom ABAP solutions as well as leveraging standard SAP functionality - Ability to code in ABAP with best practices. Must have experience in large data processes and therefore performance improvement techniques - Evaluate and tuning ABAP extracts performance - Experience in systems analysis and design in more than one module, i.e. SD and FI - Knowledge of SAPmaster and transactional data, and general understanding of Sales processes and SD transactions - Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must be able to work individually as well as multi-disciplinary team - Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent documentation capabilities (Functional Requirement Document, Technical Specification, Testing Scripts, etc.) - Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and complex environment - Good organizational skills, Balance multiple priorities.
