They should have at least 7 years of Linux experience and want to be challenged. They should be solid in Linux and systems administration concepts and able to troubleshoot the full stack. Candidate is expected to manage/admin Linux and Windows hosts in a complex virtual and bare metal environment. They will be expected to manage incoming P1's, P2's and P3s that occur during their shift and take ownership of those items that are not pressing but can be completed during the next shift. This candidate will be expected to operate with little guidance after they have learned the processes and procedures. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively, is versed in English and can employ the scientific method to troubleshoot complex systems issues. This will include the following technologies: Linux (CentOS/OEL 6 and 7), KVM, oVirt/RHEV, HP C7000, EMC VNX, and related OS, DB and application layer support. They should be fully versed in troubleshooting the full stack and fluent in concepts of the OSI model. Experience with supporting databases and in house developed applications a plus. Experience with supporting full stack environments a mandatory requirement (three tier) Experience in shell scripting to include Perl or Python a plus. Knowledge of OOP + having some experience programming to an API (at any point in their experience) a plus.
