The developer will be responsible for design and development of various Financial/retail web applications. The position requires interaction with Business Analysts, QA team, and production support teams to ensure successful project delivery, maintenance and support. *Primary Duties and Responsibilities:* · Development of HTML5/JS web applications. · Providing technical assistance to Project Managers and Business Analysts with project planning and review sessions. · Designing (low-level) solutions for features, bug fixes and enhancements. · Application build, deployment and general maintenance. · Participating in peer-to-peer code reviews. · Troubleshooting application performance and security issues in production. · Working closely with Quality Assurance and Marketing team in resolving defects. · Assisting with application transition to support teams and managing application documentation. *Desired skill set:* · Excellent Oral and Written communication skills. · Strong hands-on experience with HTML5/JS/CSS. · Strong hands-on experience with jquery. · Hands-on experience building responsive web applications using MVC frameworks. · Hands-on experience developing grunt scripts and working with continuous integration tools. · Strong hands-on experience debugging and testing JS applications. · Experience with SharePoint or SalesForce (Lighting api) are a plus. · Experience with financial app development strongly preferred. · Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum preferred) Suitable candidates will be selected for phone screens followed by formal in-house interviews.
