Please share suitable profiles towards below position to vi...@pronixinc.com *Position: Websphere Portal Developer* *Location: Newark, NJ* *Duration: Long Term* *Responsibilities:* · Work closely with architects, designers and business partners to deliver highly usable software that complements our set objectives. · Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques and best practices · Development of server-side components to satisfy front-end requirements · Convert wireframes into workable prototypes for business review, design validation and usability testing. · Convert CSS and other artifacts into portal themes, layouts and skins · Work closely with backend engineers and architects to suggest and plan the best solution with the UX in mind *Requirements:* · Must have over 8 years of related WebSphere Portal design and development experience. · Experience with IBM WebSphere Portal 8.5/8.x is preferred. · Experience in WebSphere Portal 8 (Page Structure, Portlet to Portlet communication, Application Scope Session, Public render parameters, Events, Themes and Skins). · Experience in using WCM API & WCM Workflows, and WCM plugins and Rest Services and JSON is preferred. · Working Theme optimization & customization layouts, modules, styles, using Layout and Page Templates for RWD/Device Classification. · Sound Java/J2EE Knowledge is preferred. · Experience with JSR 186/286 Portal development is preferred., · Experience with JEE and external application integration/enablement is preferred. · Experience with IBM Digital Experience Manager is preferred. · Knowledge of WebServices is a plus. · Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript is preferred. · Knowledge of administration and configuration is a plus. · Experience with IBM Directory Services is a plus. · Experience working with Oracle, DB2 is preferred. · Excellent communication and documentation skills.
