*Title: IT Project Management Consultant* *Location: Austin, TX * *Duration: 1 year * *Locals Preferred* Dell’s Commerce Services (DCS) is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead the end to end software engineering life cycle. This program manager will be responsible for delivering projects in a complex, distributed, dynamic, fast paced, scalable agile ecommerce environment. *Responsibilities * · Responsible for the program execution, delivery and quality across a team of 50+ developers and organization of over 700 team members. · Be extremely data driven and drive/track program execution and delivery excellence. · Work with product managers, architects, developers and SDETs to endure that the product is being designed, engineered and launched with the highest bar of engineering excellence. · Must be able to drive clarity through ambiguous and complex dependencies, architectural challenges, recommend alternatives to ensure aggressive timelines are met. · Balance business needs with technical constraints without compromising customer value. · Identify big rocks, dependencies, pre and post launch challenges early, manage & mitigate risks, provide timely escalation management and reporting, encourage responsible risk taking to maximize business benefit. · Be able to drive consensus across highly skilled staff to ensure design, quality and delivery is not compromised. · Responsible for scrum and agile excellence. M - F 40 hrs/wk; OT potential during launch, up to 50 hrs; will work hrs outside of normal business hrs to support global teams; MUST BE ONSITE Prefer candidates able to interview onsite · 12-15 years of total software/IT engineering experience.
