The proxy is just our proxy: echo $http_proxy http://proxy:3128 It's probably squid. The place to retrieve the user is here: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/gar/browser/csw/mgar/gar/v2/lib/web/releases_web.py#L207 Works in my testing env, and does not work on the buildfarm.
