This is a major issue. Having under all circumstances sparc and x86 is really important. There are only very limited situations where it is ok to have just one platform like when we repackage upstream binaries (like adobereader) only available for one platform or if upstream only supports x86 (like node.js or valgrind) and sparc can’t be made to compile without a real porting project.
