Thank you so much also. I just built and installed this on my ancient
Solaris machine (with Oracle Developer Studio 12.5 compiler) and on my
ancient Ubuntu Linux 2.6.31 machines. In the case of the latter, it
configured with no mods, and in the case of the latter I had to set
LDFLAGS to -lnsl -lsocket -lresolv. In both cases it indexed a large
amout of mail with no errors at all.

Here is some nice output:

Wrote 476496 messages (9529920 bytes of tables, 0 bytes of text)
Wrote 18060 mbox headers (288960 bytes of tables, 913357 bytes of paths)
Wrote 7623936 bytes of mbox message checksums
To: Wrote 49735 tokens (397880 bytes of tables, 730591 bytes of text, 3620824
bytes of hit encoding)
Cc: Wrote 23047 tokens (184376 bytes of tables, 340327 bytes of text, 1662561
bytes of hit encoding)
From: Wrote 28431 tokens (227448 bytes of tables, 402831 bytes of text, 2970326
bytes of hit encoding)
Subject: Wrote 32137 tokens (257096 bytes of tables, 270609 bytes of text,
3875575 bytes of hit encoding)
Body: Wrote 1219286 tokens (9754288 bytes of tables, 29211458 bytes of text,
88038639 bytes of hit encoding)
Attachment Name: Wrote 5155 tokens (41240 bytes of tables, 126992 bytes of
text, 50257 bytes of hit encoding)
(Threading): Wrote 236788 tokens (1894304 bytes of tables, 9906793 bytes of
text, 5246246 bytes of hit encoding)

In earlier versions, I would get quite a few headers errors, but now the
output was 100% clean!

Thanks again.

Ed
