Saturday: We had a beautiful, sunny day on Lake Cayuga with a shifty SSW
breeze. Eight races were sailed in each fleet. The first two rotations were
sailed with the wind being 3-5 mph. After the second rotation, the wind
started picking up and was blowing between 8 and 10 mph consistently for the
rest of the races.
Sunday: Four races were sailed in each division to complete the full
rotation. A fleet was able to get one race in before the wind died
completely and they headed in to the boathouse. Once the wind picked up, the
other race was completed. As the wind filled in nicely from the North, the
full 12 race rotation was completed. Congratulations to the first place team
from Old Dominion University.
