Carl Van Duyne Trophy - MAISA Men's US Merchant Marine Academy October 10-11, 2009 Saturday: "Manly" conditions for the Men's Singlehandeds! The day started with winds out of the West-Northwest at 12 knots and quickly built to 16-20 knots before the first race. Five races were sailed before a lunchbreak. In the afternoon the wind continued to build with puffs over 20knots, shifting right and kicking up 2-3' chop. Three more races were completed in the afternoon before racing was called for the day.
