The Grant Regatta
A reminder, any team that sails in the Grant automatically gets a Spring
ranking higher than all the teams who sailed neither the America or the
Grant. The winner of the Grant will be ranked 19th for the Spring, just one
place lower than the loser of the America. Assuming that all nine spots in the
Grant are filled, the last placed team at the Grant will rank above 23
other teams.
The Grant will be sailed at Christopher Newport in two fleets of FJs and
420s and lunch on Saturday will be provided.
With the 4th, 5th, and 6th placed teams at each of the Spring Qualifiers,
this should be a well balanced and very competitive fleet.
