2012 CNU SMALL TEAM CLINIC
Christopher Newport will host a clinic for new sailors (and old) on
September 1st and 2nd.
Priority will be given to these teams: VT, UVA, WM, HU, SSU, MD, AU, SJC,
DRX, DEL, VIL, LOY, MBC, UPN, & OCN (Small teams of the Southern half).
The purpose of the Clinic will be to prepare sailors for participation in
college sailing in MAISA.
Saturday morning topics will be:
How college sailing is organized
MAISA management structure
Team obligations
Individual obligations
Pertinent MAISA Rules
The MAISA Draft of events
An over view of MAISA venues
On Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning races will be run on all the
course configurations now common in MAISA.
Space is limited. Sign up early. We won’t specify a number per team unless
necessary for fairness.
Cost will be $15.00 per person and lunch will be provided on Saturday.
We expect to conclude by 1:00 PM on Sunday
