The MAISA Laser #2 was run in conjunction with the Faye Bennet regatta and 
started off with a delightful 6-12 knot southerly on Annapolis Harbor. 6 races 
were sailed this morning right off of Triton Point before a 40 minute lunch 
break was taken at 1pm. After lunch the racing area was moved to the Navy 
N-cove to avoid the weekend powerboat chop in the harbor. 6 additional races 
were sailed after lunch in champagne conditions with the breeze up a bit 
between 12 and 15 knots. All courses were W4s with no protests recorded but one 
request for breakdown granted in race 9. Thanks to our team of Midshipmen for 
setting marks, our umpire, Dave Clinnin, for upholding the law on the water, 
and Capt. Dick Morin for hearing the request for breakdown. The forecast 
tomorrow is for another beautiful September Maryland day with a lighter
