Hey everyone, just a quick tip on using software synthesizers. I figured out the reason why QWS sometimes goes unresponsive at startup, for those of you who asked. If you are using Coolsoft Vertual midi synth, or any other synthesizer that has the following option, you might want to know that you should make sure that the option "preload whole soundfont into memory" should be turned off, if you have an old computer. What this does, is It requires QWS to load up all of the soundfonts in your soft synth, and causes a delay when QWS starts up. Often, if your memory is not good enough on your computer, it will cause QWS to hang or go unresponsive.
