Hi there.

I got the program working after eliminating duplicate ports and removing a
bunch of entries from sound video and game controllers, stuff that I didn't
even know what it was like microsoft sync clock and microsoft streaming
server. Sound video and game controlers had 17 items in it and now it has 4
and things seem to be working better. That's an area I never really checked
on in all the years I've had this computer so that probably accounted for a
lot of problems so thank you Andre for that document in the roland folder
about removing ports. How's that for a run-on sentence? lol.

one thing I'm wondering about is the following situation.

The roland fa08 has an arpagiator and I'm guessing that you can use step
recording in QWS to create arpageos. but I like playing these in real-time,
it just feels more natural to my way of doing things. If you've got
arpagiator mode turned on in the hardware side of things and you play chords
into QWS, I'm assuming that if you don't quantize anything that it should
play back correctly right? I'm guessing that the trick would be to get the
metronome to time exactly in sync with the arpagiator on your keyboard but I
guess midi clocking would take care of all that wouldn't it?

Thanks for the tips.

Scott
