Hello, List, No, I'm not going to ask a question about this topic. Rather, I'll provide a link to a program which permits MIDI port mapping in Vista, Windows 7 and later versions.
There is a piece of software called MIDI Port Config which was supposed to work but at least for me, it didn't. When I boot my computer and play a MIDI file, the audio comes from my Casio PX-300. I truly hope this helps some of you.
