Hi,
If you press Ctrl+Home, you'll go to the absolute start of the song, that
is, time 0, or position 0.
If you press Home (without the Ctrl), you'll jump to the first beat that
contains data.
So, having pressed Insert, to insert some space, or having used the Time
Glide tool, you can check if Ctrl+Home and Home take you to different
places.
Hope this helps.
With best regards,
James.

Hi James. Long time no chat.
Ok, I tried both ways, but how do I know that it was applied"
It doesn't an-ounceBar 0 or anything. The status bar just shows Bar one,
beat one.
Would appreciate if you could help.
Thanks.
Dewald.

Hi,
There are two ways to insert beats (anywhere in a track):
* Method one:
1. Move the cursor to where you want to insert a beat.
2. Press the Insert key - assuming your screen reader doesn't swallow the
keypress.
Note: you might like to set the View->Zoom so each press of Insert will
insert a particular number of beats. Insert will insert the number set by
the Zoom.
3. Repeat for all tracks.
* Method 2:
1. Move the cursor to the position where you want to insert.
2. Select Tools -> Apply to All Tracks.
3. Press Shift + Ctrl + End, so select from your cursor position to the
end of the song.
4. Use Tools -> Time Glide and enter the number of beats you wish to
insert.
5. Remember to turn off Tools -> Apply to All Tracks afterwards.

Subject: QWS List Incerting beats before first beat
Hi folks.
I haven't been using QWS for a long time. For three years, that I didn't
have the opportunity for using my keyboard, travelling etc.
Anyway, I am working with someone creating film music.
But this song has two notes that has to come before the first bar.
How do I do that again?
And so by the way, does anyone know about a midi sequencer for the Mac
without installing Windows on my Mac?
Something for the Mac?
Thanks.
Dewald.
