correction on this, I have configured loop b1 for protius in protius.
however I am not sure how to run it in winamp.
I only really want its exb bank, is there an easy way to convert this to
a soundfont or can someone do it for me so I can load it into the
coolsoft synth which actually will suit my needs.

ok how do I configure loop b1 for protius, both are now loaded, loop b
seems to be updated more than midiyoke but obviously if I can't get loop
b to work I will have to use midiyoke.

Unfortunately, you can't get very high quality sound fonts based off of
other keyboards. Believe me, I've tried several. However, there are
some
good ones out there, such as the Salamander Grand Piano by Alexander
Holmes.
You should be able to get it here:

Actually, Proteus VX is now free, not as a sound font, but as its own
stand-alone synth. You can download the package here at
http://www.creative.com/emu/proteusvx/
Don't worry about the notice that says it only works on Vista and XP.
I was
able to make it work on both windows 7 and 8. All I had to do was run
it as
administrator the first time I launched it. However, in order to use
this
with Winamp, you'll probably need a virtual midi cable like Midi Yoke,

Or Loop BE1

I hope this helps, and please reply if you need additional help.
God bless:
Seth

hmmm writing to my own message.
I looked at protius and hmmm they are quite expensive to buy the fonts
won't be getting that stuff.
I have coolsoft synth and with a few tweaks it sounds good.
I noticed I could chain like 10 or so fonts together, however loading to
many uses a heck of a lot of memmory so I am only putting in one at a
time to play on winamp which it works well with.
As long as its not on realtime cpu and the font is not loaded in memmory
it does not lag that much and is a bit faster than the synth font
winamp plugin.
I am looking for and have not found soundfonts for the following
emulation.
sc88 roland I have an sc55. roland corg, e36 board ensonic juno ts12.
yamaha
motif all of them or at least the best one. awe32/ awe64 creative. tandy.
amiga. c64 whatever the best one is. I have a few fonts all free some
from
old cards some from websites and ftps. What I like about soundfonts is
I can
emulate sertain cards. I have pulled fonts from an xp system with an
sb live
and I have an old
sb16.

Hello everyone,
Finally, I have released QWS version 1.56.
You can download it from the usual place: qws.andrelouis.com and go
to the Downloads page.
This version is mainly a bug fix version, with a couple of little
improvements as well:
* You can now press Page Up and Page Down to move Back and Forwards
in the Event List
* Added maximum and minimum key and velocity values for notes in
the Track Statistics dialog.
* When you insert an event in the Event List, it now defaults to
the track channel.
* Various improvements for loading and using translatable prompts;
this will be of particular benefit to use who use QWS in another
language.
* Bug fixes
Thinking of the various language translations of QWS, these files
may need updating to add any new prompts.
Enjoy the new version and happy music making.
With best regards,
James.
