Oh, I don't have problems with changing midi port, run the program
midiselector, select midi port, for example digital keyboard1 and click
apply.

Thank you Ale. but i have a small problem though. when i ran the program you
suggested, here is what it said
Default MIDI output device change
Any open programs making use of the MIDI subsystem will need to be restarted
to pick up the change in settings.
OK so how do i fix that to where it will keep what i choose i have a yamaha
se90 s.

Hello and thanks for all.
Yes, in win7, I use midiselector for chosing the default midi port of my
s970.
The keyboard has been bought with manual in shop.

Hello Ales,
Sorry for the delay replying to you, I have been away.
In answer to your first question:
I don't think we yet have an instrument for your Yamaha PSR S970. If you
have the manual, you will be able to create it.
Please note that you can still use QWS without the list, you'll just need
to use MIDI program and bank numbers instead.
Your second question, about using different instruments on different
tracks: Have you set the MIDI channel number for each track? So, you could
set channel 1 on track 1, channel 2 on track 2, and so on.
Note that you should use channel 10 for drums.
The channels are sent to your keyboard; the tracks are used by QWS.
I hope that makes some kind of sense.
With best regards,
James.

Hello, from Slovenia!
Can anyone use proffesional instrument, such as yamaha psr s970, can i get
the instrument list .ini file for this instrument?
2. How can I put the focus to the specifical track, for example track 2,
because i want to change sound of this track? I use instrument list with
shortcut alt and enter, but something goes wrong, the voice of the
selected track changes to all midi tracks.
With kind regards
Ales Kuhar
