I thought you said you had Make 3.81. What you posted are two
sessions with Make 3.80 (btw, what is the difference between the two
runs?). Can you post what Make 3.81 does with this makefile?
Also, please look in the registry for these two keys, and if they are
present, tell what are their values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\AutoRun
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor\AutoRun
In addition, please make sure the cmd.exe that you have on your
machine is the one from C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder, and tell what is
its version (visible if you right-click on cmd.exe in Explorer, then
select Properties, and go to the Version tab).
