Thanks, I'm now sure this is the same bug that I had in mind: it raises its ugly head when the value of Path ends with a quote. The bug number is 25412, you can view the solution here: http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?25412 There's a patch there that you can apply and rebuild Make to solve this problem. By the way, out of curiosity: where did those quoted directories in your Path come from? Did you add quoted directories, or is it work of automated installer programs?
