As for my blanks, my shipment of popping blanks will only arrive in about 3 weeks time so I cannot quote you as yet. For the time being here's the specs for my popping blanks. My range of jigging blanks for 2002 will be ready in by the end of the month because I made some changes in the specifications after the initial field test. Will update you once I get the finalized specs for the jigging rods. In my opinion if you are looking for a versatile rod that you can jig and pop with, the SAR series of blanks will do nicely. SAURUS has a range of rods called the "CHAR-MAS" series and these rods are 8'4" to 9' long. These rods can be used for both jigging and popping so as you can see, the really short jigging sticks are meant solely for jigging only because you cannot cast a popper with it. Anyway, it's really a matter of personal preference. A small tip for you, if you just buy one blank and ship it to Indonesia using courier service, it will be very costly but if you get a few guys to buy a few blanks at the same time, freight charges can be shared and that will save you quite a lot.
