Folks:
Subject line says it all - trying to do an instillation of Manits
1.0.7 on a Suse SLES10 system.
Did the install per instructions and when I tried to run:
http://mysystem/mantis/admin/install.php
I got a blank screen.
When I went to http://mysystem/mantis/admin I got the Mantis
Administration page - when I clicked on the link "System Utilities" I
got:
APPLICATION ERROR #400
Database connection failed. Error received from database was #1045:
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Please use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the
previous page. There you can correct whatever problems were identified
in this error or select another action. You can also click an option
from the menu bar to go directly to a new section.

SYSTEM WARNING: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access
denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Please note I have a password on mysql - is that the issue?
If so how do I enter it so Mantis can be setup?
