Thanks for your feedback!... Yes, I've tried that, I've added the developer 
to the project but I can not assign a ticket to him, he does not appear in 
the users combo box. I just see the managers role there... is that 
correct?.. did I forget to configure something?

Go to the "manage" area for the project, and add the developer user to
the project.
