It makes perfect sense. In current versions, we dropped the "?>" from the last line of the files in the distribution. PHP will send any blank lines after this delimiter as part of the web page. In the case of images, it preceeds the image data and corrupts it. I think that this is listed in the graph troubleshooting information. ...
