I'm trying to find dates for the following ancient Virgil critics, mentioned by Suetonius/Aelius Donatus:
- Perellius Faustus, author of a book on Virgil's furta - Q. Octavius Avitus, author of the eight-volume "Resemblances" Nothing on either figure in Stok and Brugnoli's ed. of Donatus, the Oxford Classical Dictionary, or the Oxford Companion to Classical Literature. Nothing in Perseus, either.
