To all:
I have spoken with Cameron Shorter and he has informed me that he was involved
in a bicycle accident on Friday evening, coming home from work. He's broken his
jaw, cheek bone, and eye socket (!!!) and will be going in for surgery on
Tuesday/Wednesday. He's says he's currently in no pain, but I believe that's
all macho Aussie-talk.
We all will, of course, be keeping him in our thoughts, and I'd like to (on
behalf of all of the squad) wish Cameron a speedy recovery, and a good return
to his family, work, and (of course) Mapbuilder duties.
Anyway, I'd like to ask Ottens to gather a list of concerns for the alpha, and
run the Tuesday meeting, as Cameron will, understandably, be out for the
duration of the meeting and some time afterwards. Steven, if you can't make it,
I'll be glad to fill in for you.
