Hi everyone,
I want to know what is the best way to implement security access to my
application. Geoserver, mapbuilder and my application are in the same apache
webserver, each one of them in its own folder, I need them to work as an unity.
I set up apache to check standard servlet security in my application and also
changed web.xml of geoserver to grant acces only to a specific role associated
with the access, I leave mapbuilder.war as I downloaded it. My goal is to login
in my application and access wms and wfs on the geoserver, but once I'm logged
in, geoserver ask me for the user and password again when the map is loading (I
putted basic authentication on geoserver web.xml).- if I enter the correct user
wms works fine but I have to put that twice. there is a problem with a
webserviceform that I don't know why uses mapbuilder proxy and It doesn't work
because geoserver doesn't recongnice session through the proxy, however
identify works ok (access the same wfs service but without the
 use of proxy (?!)).
I think I need my application (a set of jsp which has some mapbuilder maps) to
share the same session with geoserver, but i don't know how to do that.
should I group them as an EAR ? please guide me, I know someone has done it
before :)
so, thanks for your time.-
