Hi,
I'm beginning with MapBuilder. I've played a few days with the examples,
trying (and sometimes managing) to adapt them. But now, it looks like i'm
stuck on one point : I'd like to load a Satellite coverage as a BaseMap.
Let's say Blue Marble coverage, for start.
I've tried several configurations, but i'm not yet at ease wih MapBuilder
configuration files, and i didn't find any example on which to rely : i just
can use the metacarta layer, as basemap. Google too, but i'd like it to be a
WMS-C, as using OpenLayers as a renderer, without the raster tiling is a
pity to me.
And i'd want a satellite coverage instead of that metacarta one.
Could someone help me ? For now, the Context file i'm basing my
experimentations on is the examples/mergeModels/metacartaOWS.xml one. Could
you help me adapting it to satellite coverage ? What blue marble source on
the web could i use, to obtain WMS-C ?
I've tried too to follow the "Add WMS tutorial" (
http://communitymapbuilder.org/display/MAP/Add+WMS+Tutorial), but i just get
red tiles, it looks like the code isn't ok any more...
And... if it were possible, i'd like to add as raster layers in MapBuilder
some WorldWind layers. You know, OpenLayers has some "basic" support for
WorldWind layers. It would be very interesting, as there are some nice
satellite layers, preprocessed for WorldWind. Is it possible ? How ?
Thanks a lot for providing me some help.
Jean
