Hi, Sorry, I apologize for the formatting from the former message. But I am using the 1.5 rc1 and have an OWS with a feature type with some SLD in the style list. I can get it to style fine but I am having trouble with the filter. My question is how much SLD to put in there. I am going to classify my layer using filters and will need several filters. I am new to SLD and OWS and was just wondering how the style list works and whether the StyledLayerDescriptor tag the NamedLayer tag, the UserStyle tag and Rule tag, i.e following the format of an external SLD, are necessary inside the StyleList in the OWS context document for the implementation of a filter.
