I have mixed feelings on this. While I think it's good to have that kind of interest, particularly since AUGI has been historically been so geospatial deficient, I do think it can get confusing having support groups in many places. I think it is already confusing enough that MapGuide Enterprise support can be found on the Autodesk discussion group and MapGuide Open Source support is here - many of the questions and issues are redundant and it seems that a consolidation would be better. I don't think this list is putting a huge strain on the OSGeo servers and if you prefer, you can use a bulletin board style interface style instead: http://www.nabble.com/MapGuide-Users-f14845.html

Just want to ask most of the users that are on this mailing list if you would be interested in having a separate forum in the AUGI forums for discussions or a place to ask a question. For those that are not aware of what AUGI is it stands for AutoDesk Users Group International. You have to join AUGI (FREE) to partake in the forums but it may cut down on the load on the OSGEO mail servers and some of the emails we all get that may not be of interest to us at the time. www.augi.com <http://www.augi.com/> James Murphy Applications Engineer ALACAD (205)444-3100 Visit us at www.alacad.com No virus found in this outgoing message.
