Hi , I tested with two Different machine ,One Machine having Windows XP+MGOS1.2.0 and then i connected to the mapguide site using the MapGuide Studio2008 installed on different windows xp machine but within the same network and it works well. Now in the second case i have Windows Server 2003+MGOS2.0.1 and then i connected to the mapguide site using MapGuide Studio 2008 as well as 2009 installed on another machine but on the same network and i unable to get the connectino property details in the box hence unable to use the connection parameters.I hope this will give you a fair bit of idea about the exact situation.
