I found a way to make the "view data" displayed in Enterprise 2009.
Here my solution, with Autodesk Commercial FDO for Oracle with Oracle 10g I have a table (TABLE_1) with a spatial column (GEOMETRY), and a slave table (TABLE_2) with some other related fields. 1) Create a spatial index for TABLE_1, and register TABLE_1 into MDSYS.SDO_GEOM_METADATA_TABLE 2) Create the view between TABLE_1 and TABLE_2. (in this case: VIEW_1) 3) Manually insert a new row into MDSYS.SDO_GEOM_METADATA_TABLE by copying the values of TABLE_1 row. You only need to modify the SDO_TABLE_NAME field value, by inserting the name of the view (VIEW_1 in this case) 4) Into MapguideStudio, refresh the Oracle Connection (deleting and recreate the connection is the best way :) ) 5) Create the new layer from VIEW_1 This works for me...
