In case you missed it, Fusion 1.1 has been released. This should be a drop-in replacement to MGOS 2.0.2, and is faster and more reliable than the bundled version.
It no longer requires users to modify their schemas to deal with the localization change in OpenLayers; a convenience function was added to Fusion that essentially does this for you. If you are going to use this with MapGuide, you will have to: - rename your existing Fusion directory to something like fusion_old - install the new version of fusion - copy the MapGuide-specific templates from the old directory (fusion_old/templates/mapguide/*) to the new - copy your fusion config file from the old directory into the new (fusion_old/config.json) to the new I _think_ that's it. I'm working from SVN rather than the packaged version, so post here or on the fusion-users mailing list if you run into any problems. Jason -----Original Message----- From: Jason Fournier Sent: Friday, October 31, 2008 12:35 Subject: [fusion-users] Fusion 1.1.0 Released The Fusion development team would like to announce the release of Fusion 1.1.0. Fusion is a web-mapping application development framework for MapGuide OS and MapServer built primarily in JavaScript. It allows non-spatial web developers to build rich mapping applications quickly and easily. Using widgets, developers are able to add, remove, or modify functionality using standard-compliant HTML and CSS. Fusion does not require any proprietary browser plug-ins and works in all the major browsers on Windows, Mac, and Linux. This version addresses 60+ feature enhancements and bugs as identified by the release notes: http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion/wiki/Releases/1.1.0/Notes. When filing tickets please include detailed information so the developers can quickly understand your request and, in the case of bugs, duplicate the behaviour. http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion Best regards, Fusion Development Team _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list mapguide-users@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
