I'm trying to programmatically add shape files as a FeatureSource, and then use a .NET layer factory (ported from PHP) to add a LayerDefinition to the MapGuide repository.
I can add the shape files and create a MapGuide FeatureSource just great. I'm stuck with how to determine if the FeatureSource contains Line or Point data. Specifically the <PointTypeStyle> and <LineTypeStyle> nodes in the LayerDefinition.xml. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
