I don't know whether I am running apache or not. All I have done is download the files and follow the steps set out in http://mapguide.osgeo.org/sites/mapguide.osgeo.org/files/GettingStarted.pdf
Nothing more, no other installs. The problem is just that the last step doesn't launch the map viewer, well, it tries but says it can't find it. I tried altering the address as you suggested but still no dice. To try and investigate what I'm doing wrong I browse to Web Studio. In there I can see the various layers of Sheboygan, they all seem to have loaded correctly. It just seems as though the viewer isn't working correctly. What might I be missing for this final step not to work but everything else apparently loading correctly? Also, I can't remember whether I installed php or asp, where do I look to check? Secondly, lots of people talk about logging out of the admin agent and restarting the server/service. How do I go about this? I'm running XP 64 with IE 7, MapGuide open source 2.0.2 and I am just trying to test this locally. Any clues or suggestions of silly things I've missed would be greatly appreciated. No one else on the forum seems to have quite the same problem I have, with the final step failing.
