Hi Andrew, I was hoping to get GDAL in MapGuide 2.2 resolved before the RC2 but that's probably not realistic. I will start the RC2 build on the weekend.
I did some digging into the GDAL provider and have discovered that using a different build of GDAL seems to open up some raster formats with MapGuide 32 bit installed on Windows 64 bit. I haven't had time to run multiuser load tests with the updated GDAL libraries so I do not know if this is a stable configuration. I haven't got a lot of uptake on funding for the GDAL provider recently so I am working on it in my spare time. I have written some configuration details into http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/ticket/1476. If you have time and a spare machine I could certainly use some help with testing. If you have trouble downloading the libraries, please ping me offline.
