Hello, I have polygons where text labels will not fit inside entirely. It is important to the user that the text labels appear nicely and if they cannot fit they would like to draw a line outside the polygon that points to it with a text label attached.
My hope is that I can allow them to draw a line and point/polygon (for the text label) directly in the AJAX Viewer and then save the data to an existing layer in the database. I see in the viewer api there are DigitizeLine(), DigitizePoint(), and DigitizePolygon() functions but does anyone have any practical examples of this? Is this type of functionality best served for AutoCAD/Map3D or can this be easily achieved in Mapguide? I'm working in C# .NET. thank you -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Need-to-draw-lines-points-possibly-polygons-to-database-tp6860154p6860154.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
