Hi, Oracle 11g max process and sessions opened.simultaneously by default is low
Mapguide open Oracle sessions and keep alive until the mapguide session is closed. If you have a lot of customers who open maps with many layers, you must have a lot of Oracle Session opened, sometime I saw one map with 50 layers increased 10 process (datasource with different oracle user name). So the CURRENT_UTILIZATION increase during the day and If CURRENT_UTILIZATION is equal than LIMIT_VALUE, Oracle refuse to open new session and MapGuide is waiting for open a session Oracle so you don't have a specific message... If you want To be sure it isn't Oracle the oracle limitation process or session, When you have the bug, restart the Oracle listener to kill all oracle sessions and press f5 to refresh your browser, if the application is running, it's Oracle limitation session or process. Another, maybe a layer which try to display no validated and too much specific geometry...
