I am working on identifying an ownership inscription in an atlas published by Frederick de Wit. The inscription is Georg Guldenstiern a [squiggle that may be a abbreviated title] The only references I can find to a Georg Guldenstiern that fits the time period comes from two 19 century texts. - Le Baron George Guldenstiern, de la chambre des comptes, gouverneur de Stockholm, gouverneur de la reine Christine - in Étienne Gallois, Lettres Inédites des Feuquières tirées Lettres Inédites des Feuquières tirées des Papiers de Famille de Madame la Duchesse Decazes, et Publiées Tome Cinquième (Paris: Leleux, Libraire-Éditeur, 1846) p. 79 - M. George Guldenstiern. Il est grand-maître de la maison de la reyne.- in J. A. Wijnne, Négociations de Monsieur le Comte D’avaux, ambassadeur extraordinaire à la cour de Suède, Pendant les Années 1693, 1697, 1698, publiées pour la première fois d’après le manuscrit, conservé à la bibliothèque de l’Arsenal à Paris, Tome deuxième, Werken van het Historisch Genootschap, Gevestigd te Utrecht. Can someone help me further with identifying the Baron George Guldenstiern noted in these texts.
