It is unlikely that any MI based analysis tools will be developed for
earthquake shaking evaluation. Too many parameters, data types, and
geologic/engineering valuation calls need to be used/made for the process to
be automated. However, it appears that many of the final earthquake seismic
hazard maps will be put out in MI format.
