Thanks to all who replied. The overwhelming reply was that this file format
is Freehand version 3. Thanks to those who offered to see if they could
translate these files to another format for me, but as we have several
hundred of these (which form part of our pumping station operating manuals)
I think I will investigate purchasing the Freehand v8.
