Hi Listers,
I have the day thrashing my computer into an inch
of its life trying to install MapXSite. Due to reasons I can't fully explain
I've been installing/uninstalling it about four times so far. Unfortunately on
the last 'remove program' it managed to mess up my ODBC 'stuff'. And I know
receive the following error when trying to run MapInfo:
ODBC Driver Manager
The ODBC resource DLL (C:\WINNT\System32\odbcint.dll) is a different version than the ODBC driver manager (C:\WINNT\System32\ODBC32.dll). You need to reinstall the ODBC components to ensure proper operation. Press OK to proceed, CANCEL to abort. I've tried to reinstall the ODBC products from the
MI disk thinking this is what the error is referring to, but now I suspect not.
Unfortunately I am not a great ODBC expert and I'm not plum-stick on what to do
next. Am I supposed to look into reinstalling sections of Windows NT or the
Service Pack 4? Or is it wholly a MapInfo problem?
Any assistance will be worshipped for the rest of
my lifetime..
Andy
