Rocco,

        Try this :

        Delete from windowinfo(frontwindow(),WIN_INFO_TABLE)

        Where frontwindow() can be replaced with the window id of the map window if
you know it.
        The WIN_INFO_TABLE returns the name of the temporary table for the map or
layout window. (i.e. cosmetic)

Hope this helps.

Subject: MI Small Mapbasic problem ??

I am issuing a

Run menu Command M_MAP_CLEAR_COSMETIC

to clear the cosmetic layer of the workspace. This works fine but a dialog
asking the user if they want to discard all objects in the cosmetic layer
appears and disrupts the flow of the program. Is there any way I can get rid of
the dialog and just clear the cosmetic layer ??

Thanks
