Release of the Orr and Associates MapInfo Version of the Digital Chart of the World (VMAP0 + DCW). Get the most up to date and error free 1:1 million scale global coverage of the World. VMAP0 data, the third and most up to date version of the DCW, was used with coverages being converted using FME and then stitched together into continuous global coverages using MapInfo. Where appropriate the original DCW data was then used to fill gaps and correct errata in the VMAP0 coverages. The data quality was also improved by manual checking. Included in the data set is the most up to date regionalised map of the world (including the states of many countries i.e. US, Canada, Brazil, Australia) and its oceans. Complete data set (950MB) is zipped onto one CD. Single user license US$160 plus postage and handling (to US approx $6). Additional single user licenses US$50, large organisation multi user US$670.
