MI MapX Version 4 - problems

Has anybody else had MapX V4 problems with code that ran OK with V3.52
MapX and now doesn't.

Example 1 - in a toolused event if the handler creates a temporary layer
and then in the same handler deletes the layer it crashes VB6.

Example 2 - A lof of the links in the help file seem to be missing also
-is anybody else getting this?



A FURTHER QUESTION

A very useful addition is the ability to read SHP but to store this
effectively you need to create a TAB file that holds the Projection
clause. It is possible in MapX to set projection parameters but how do
you read them back? In particular how can you read the datum clause if
it is not one of the standard datums? If you can get thisbackit would
then be possible to register the SHP correctly by writing a TAB.
