Hello,

If you get ghostscript and gsview (it's free, you will need both) from: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/ you will be able to print .PS or .EPS files (also reads .PRN) to a .PDF file.  If you do not have the Acrobat Reader, you can view your PDF's with gsview.  Help is well documented.

They also have a printer driver (redmon) that will let you print from any application to a postscript file, or use your non-postscript printer to print postscript.  This utility is a bit tricky to configure, but the instructions are very good.

Regards,

Keith,

Sorry I guess you also need Abobe PDF writer program, I thought that was also
free to download, I'm I wrong?
Sorry if my answer missguided you in anyway.

Dan,

Great tip. I wasn't aware that the drivers are free. However, unless
I'm missing something, I only have the ability to print to a
PostScript file. Once I have that, I need to take it into Distiller
to produce the PDF - I can't do it directly unless I were to install
Distiller on the same PC as MapInfo.
