I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "Data acquisition directly on the
field"? I've used it on a laptop computer in the field under fairly rugged
conditions, but that's more a function of the laptop than the software. I've
also downloaded data from magnetometers, and received geochemical data via
modem from labs in other countries. If you've got specific questions feel
