Andreas

I think you may be using an old version of MapInfo. I think from either 4.5
or somewhere above the limit of nodes was increased to in excess of one
million per polygon (total of all individual polygon nodes)

Michael

Subject: MI display of large polygons

hello!

In Mapinfo-relations, polygons with more than ca. 30.000 nodes are not
displayed in a map window.
This happens even though topology and data files are correct. The concerned
polygons
can be found in tables as well in mif/mid-datafiles. However, they cannot be
changed, since
their geometry cannot be selected from the map window.

Is this due to system options, or are there special tools or geometry
handlers necessary to work
with large polygons?

Thanks,

Andreas
